Our Story

Where it all started

Ella and Alex met at Newcastle University while completing their Media and Computer Science degrees. After graduating, they spent a year road tripping Australia, scuba diving in the Philippines, and trekking in Nepal.

Back home, they spotted a gap — small businesses deserved great marketing without the big agency price tag or the lack of personal touch. So they built it themselves.

Ella Bromhead

Director of Social Media and Photography

During her degree, Ella focused on modules such as advertising and consumption, digital discourses, and PR and communications. While at university, she completed two internships in digital marketing and events coordination. These roles involved social media management, email marketing, creation of marketing materials, and photography.

While travelling, she worked with Australian and Filipino tour companies, creating content and photography to promote their services.

Alex Freeman

Director of Web Development

During his degree, Alex focused on modules such as web development, software engineering, and human-computer interaction. These gave him a strong technical foundation alongside an understanding of how people use the web.

Since graduating, he has built websites for a number of companies across different industries, handling everything from design and development to SEO and email setup. Every site he delivers is fast, mobile-friendly, and built to grow with the business.
